Abstract

The evident interest of the public and private administration in supporting new business creation initiatives is also expressed by the academy through the development of scientific articles made in South America, which invites us to analyze the research production generated in relation to entrepreneurship in South America, for which a bibliographic exploration was developed in one of the most respectable existing databases such as Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo), where the word entrepreneurship was taken as a search engine, and also scientific articles where it is evident that the studies were carried out in South America. The information obtained shows the growth in the production of scientific articles concerning entrepreneurship in South America, the articles according to the area of ​​knowledge and the journals where the publications are made. With the results obtained, it is expected to create new expectations for future research.
